When Austrians say that they do something “with no ‘Schnick Schnack’” they talk about doing it in a direct, straightforward fashion. Well, when we wanted to create a full-bodied wine with ripe aroma we took extra effort and care to do it right. A lot of “Schnick Schnack” so to speak. Straight from our private cellar.

The ‘Wolfshuber’s Secret’ series is part of our flagship line of Heritage wines. The naming pays tribute to one of our ancestors, Martin Wolfshuber. Mr. Wolfshuber was a visionary mayor and winemaker in Pillichsdorf. Legend has it that his wines were of unparalleled aromatic finesse. His secret formula was refined through a lifetime of pioneering dedication to his vineyard. The same ‘Preissling’ vineyard that continues to be the origin of our signature Grüner Veltliner.
